FAQ's

Can I run with weight on my back?

Rucking is walking at a good pace, but not running. Running with a weighted pack can put a lot of strain on your joints and takes away the low-impact appeal of rucking.

Do I need special weight plates for the Ruc Pack?

No. Our Ruc Pack is engineered to fit standard weight plates. Click here for weight plate compatibility specs and buy Weight Plates.

Is rucking better than running?

Rucking is gentler on the joints as compared to running. Research shows that rucking carries less risk of injury than running. While running is predominantly a cardiovascular activity, rucking combines cardiovascular fitness and strength, allowing you to build and maintain overall muscle mass.

Is rucking better than walking?

Carrying a weighted pack turns an ordinary walk into a strength exercise. Rucking is an efficient workout where you burn more calories in less time when compared to walking. It also improves your posture and strengthens your back. Anyone who walks, can ruck!

Will I need a Ruc Pack to start rucking?

Regular backpacks are not designed to carry weight plates and can cause back pain and/or injury. Our custom designed Ruc Pack secures the weight high on and close to your back ensuring proper form and posture.
